The cinema is not a slice of life...
it is a piece of cake.

Presented by the Auburn Library, the movies are shown at 2 and 7 p.m. in the Beecher Room of the library, 350 Nevada St. in Auburn.
Silver Screen started as a project of the Auburn Arts Commission in 1996,and became independent in 1999. In 2008, the LIbrary adopted the program. It's a labor of love -- a lot of work, and a lot of fun. It's the only way to see these movies on film on a big screen in Auburn.
The series would be impossible without the help of many in the community -- especially Mark Parker, Placer County Director of Library Services, and Vance Sauter of Golden Triangle Publications. Thanks very much.
