Calling all classic movie lovers in Auburn, California! 2010 marks Silver Screen's 14th year. Join us and delight in wonderful movies -- with stars such as Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy, Buster Keaton and Cary Grant, Henry Fonda and Jean Arthur. Once a month in the Auburn Library, we honor an age long gone but fondly remembered.

Presented by the Library, the movies are shown at 1, 4, and 7:30 p.m. in the Beecher Room of the library, at 350 Nevada St. in Auburn. Admission is free.

Over 22 years, from 1928 to 1954, these movies represent some of the best of the classics, from screwball and adventure to French fairy tale, film noir, and silent comedy. Whether you're seeing them again or for the first time, you're guaranteed a great movie!
