Classic movie lovers in Auburn, California! 2013 marks Silver Screen's 17th year. Even better, we're showing our 200th movie in November. Celebrate with us all year with 12 wonderful classic movies that satisfy and delight. From musicals, Westerns and swashbucklers to dark horror and screwball comedy, these movies boast great actors such as Rex Harrison, Judy Garland, Spencer Tracy, Jean Arthur, Sidney Poitier, Diane Keaton and Woody Allen. Presented by the Library, the movies are shown at 1, 4, and 7:30 p.m. in the Beecher Room of the library, at 350 Nevada St. in Auburn. Admission is free. From 7 to 9 p.m. on the Monday following Silver Screen, join Susan Rushton for a deeper discussion of the movie at Round Table Pizza in Auburn Town Center, 370 Elm Ave. in Auburn.
